Yes, completely. BottleCRM is open source under the MIT license. No hidden fees, no subscription, no per-user pricing. Download it, host it, change it.
How does it compare to the big platforms?
BottleCRM covers what most small teams actually use (contacts, pipeline, tasks, tickets and invoicing) without the cost or the complexity. It won’t match every feature of a $300/month platform, and it doesn’t try to.
Can I host it on my own servers?
Yes. Self-hosting is the default. Deploy on your own infrastructure, keep full ownership of your data, and avoid vendor lock-in. Docker images and deployment guides are provided.
What is it built with?
SvelteKit on the front end, Django and Python on the back end, PostgreSQL for data, and Flutter for the mobile app.
Can I connect my AI assistant?
Yes. BottleCRM has a full REST API with per-user access tokens, so an agent like Claude or Cursor can search, create and update records. The agent acts as you and inherits your permissions. It cannot see or do anything you can’t.
